Can users work simultaneous in ppt.'s with PowerPoint 2007?

I know this was not possible in Office 2003....just wondering if anyone knows if this has become possible
 in Office 2007?

Thanks so much...;-)
What does:

No, it's not.  However, SharePoint can open items for simultaneous editing with versioning.

Versioning mean?

You can put a presentation in a SharePoint document library and multiple people can edit it at the same time and it will save the different versions.
Thats a good answer but can you save into one file is this possible with 2007....Also do you know if you can lock slides out from certiain users

Example:
1 Powerpoint Presentation
Slide A,B,C,D
Joe can only edit slide A and D
Bill can only edit Slide B and C

Is this possible on Sharepoint and when they have updated they can save to the original file or will this cause a sharing violation with office?
Yes, in a SharePoint Slide Library, all slides become separate items.
