How to unblock aol

I requested how to block chat programs and I tested on my computer and blocked AOL CHAT and now do not remember how - I thought it was in a registry file.

Can someone assist me on where to start to look?

not on the host file as it is still the sample file - I did it on my actual computer and not on the server...

anywhere else I can look?

hosts
maybe blocked the doman under IE tools>options>security>restricted sites>sites.  Or maybe on your firewall start>control panel>windows firewall
????
Nope not in IE or firefox...Windows firewall is off since we use symnatec network firewall - I checked anyway and it is not there...

I remember changing a service or registry file - darn darn

AOL still worked until I obviously restarted my computer
I figured it out! it was in the host file! THANK YOU
