After installing the Symantec EndPoint client, the workstation boots very slowly

Before installing SEP, the workstation took kess than two minutes to boot. After installing the SEP client from the Symantec Endpoint server, the workstation takes almost 5 minutes to fully boot.

Darius GhassemCommented:
We had multiple issues with SEP. This AV brought down mutiple networks including servers. We ended up using the cleanwipe to fully remove this product from our servers and clients. The servers were the ones that were causing the long delays in boot time and hanging of the clients and servers. Though we did experience very slow boot times without the SEP on the servers.

They have also done that for most and the problem still isn't fixed.

Thank you for your advise. I was hoping not to uninstall SEP to solve my issues. the time and $$$ to get a different solution I guess outweighs the abilitiy to use our equipment productively and virus free...
