Blank detail row in table before next group row?

Is it possible to insert a blank detail row in a table before the next header row in a SQL Server Reporting Services 2005 report?

I don't think that will give you what you want.  It will give you a blank detail row between every detail record.  You can add another group footer row though.  That will give you an extra row between groups.
