Mail toolbar used to contain a "popular" field that is now gone?

I have an iMac user that contends she had a "popular" box in the toolbox but lost it after a software update.  I am not a Mac person, but I did look around in preferences and did not see anything like what she is talking about?  Do any of you know what this is and how to bring it back?

I have never heard of such a thing. What is the "popular box" supposed to? Is she sure this was in Mail? You can add to the toolbar by control-clicking on it, but "popular" is not one of the optional fields.

Is she talking about the tool bar at the top or the folder bar on the left?

I have never seen what she is talking about and she is worse on Mac's than I am so getting her to explain exactly what she had seen is an issue.  I am going out to see her again in a few days and will update this question when I get more details from her, if possible.

Please close question as the customer cannot remember where she saw the box she talking about originally.  If she does recall it, I will post a new question.  Thank you.

My guess is she saw it on iTunes, not mail.
