Hi,

I am new to JMeter and i have one requirement. I want to perform load testing on my Login application using JMeter.

I have configured JMeter and my test plan as follows:

TestPlan
      Login Testing (Thread Group)
            Http Cookie Manager
            Http Request Defaults
            Sample Controller
                  Home PageRequest (HTTP Request)
                  Login PageRequest (HTTP Request)
                  UserActiveCheckingPage (HTTP Request)

First, By using  "The Home PageRequest", i have checked the home page is available or not .

Second, By using "Login PageRequest", i have performed login operation by using username and password. I have configured username and password in "send parameters with the Request" section of HTTP Request. I have checked "follow Redirects" and "keep alive" check boxes and set the method "POST".

In UserActiveCheckingPage, i have performed user is active or not. If the user is logged in successfully, then it shows "USER ACTIVE" , Otherwise it shows "USER INACTIVE".

Generally, If user access the UserActiveCheckingPage with out login to the application, It gives "USER INACTIVE". Otherwise , it gives "USER ACTIVE".

But In JMeter always shows me "USER INACTIVE".
I think , i am missing some configurations details, i,e. login credentials setting on "Login PageRequest" and let me know, where i am missing.  If anybody have idea on this, Please send me your comments/concerns, it will be of great help to me.
