Skinnable scrollbars!
Ah hello.
I am trying to skin scrollbars on a window, be it a frame window or a control on a dialog.
I have found the article http://www.codeproject.com/KB/dialog/skinscrollbar.aspx but it offers very little explanation of how it works. When I was learning about subclassing in general, I followed the article at http://www.codeproject.com/KB/combobox/listboxexByEricSanchez.aspx, which, whereas probably a little excessive in explanation for some, I found perfect, since I have had very little need for custom controls hence have never looked at them.
But now I need a scrollbar, and would like an article of the quality of the latter linked to above.
Can someone offer either a book title or online article that offers an explanation of how to achieve this please?
TIA

Thanks.
That was one of the many links I have already looked at :). However, if there are no more helpful posts, I will accept this and post a summary of my findings.

Again, looks like we did the same searches - already looked at those. The Dr Dobbs one is interesting in the sense that it derives from CWnd not CScrollbar, but overall, I am sure there is adequate info here to help future searchers of this topic.
