Need to migrate e-mails from a VPOP server to an Exchange 2003 server using SMTP.

Need to migrate from a VPOP server to an Exchange 2003  server using SMTP. Does anybody know how to migrate the e-mails as they are all stored on the VPOP server.

Way I would do this, and have done in the past, is this.

Configure the Exchange 2003 POP3 connector to look at the VPOP server as the mailserver.  If the VPOP server has multiple mailboxes, then cycle through all the user names, and with the POP3 connector select which mailbox to put messages in, depending on which vPOP account you are downloading from.  If the VPOP server has a global mailbox, then you can use the global mailbox feature in exchange POP3 connector instead.
