Transparent layers in a flash screensaver

Hi
I wanted to create a screensaver (in Flash i guess) which would have holes in it so that as the screensaver "holes" moved around the screensaver it would expose the underlying desktop (on both MACs and PCs) - is that possible? What would i need to ask the development team to do in order to achieve it?

Thanks

This is not possible.
You could create an AIR application (uses Flash) to create an offline desktop application that allows for transparency.

As far as setting the app up as a screensaver, not sure about all that without something special intervening.
