I have established a Multilink configuration between two T1 circuits, however, the second serial interface keeps going down. I have tested over and over with the carrier and the circuit is good. I have replaced cableing, replaced WIC Cards, and reviewed configuration. Any suggestions?

Cisco is sugestion RMA of the 3745

I perform circuit installs on a weekly basis..If you already completed the steps stated...I would has the LEC to re-terminate the jack. If its a extended dmark, re-terminate that aswell

Also if you switch the t-1 from interface Serial0/1/0 to interface Serial0/2/0 does it work>?

At the site with the Cisco 2801 there is a patch cable about 15' between the smartjack and the router. The cable has been replaced 3 times.

Yes, we have moved the T1 from serial0/3/0 to Serial0/2/0 (not exactly what you asked).

At the Cisco 3745 end, is a DS3 with an Adtran MX2800 that multiplexes the circuit. I though of having the carrier move the T1 to a different channel, but had tested the circuit with a spare router and it stayed up with no errors.

That is when Cisco said they would replace the 3745 router.

Yes so if you swapped cables from each slot and got the same result on the same slot, then I would try a ios upgrade for kicks..and rma it

RMA was for: CISCO3745-CHAS+MP
IOS upgrade not needed.
