I recently set up my AT&amp;T personal email account to be sent to my Outlook. Since then I've been able to receive messages however none of the messages I send out go through unless I am responding to an email. How can I fix this?

I recently set up my AT&T personal email account to be sent to my Outlook. Since then I've been able to receive messages however none of the messages I send out go through unless I am responding to an email. How can I fix this? 

None of my outgoing emails are being sent via Outlook unless I reply to a previously received email. Why?

Microsoft Outlook is a personal information manager from Microsoft, available as a part of the Microsoft Office suite. Although often used mainly as an email application, it also includes a calendar, task manager, contact manager, note-taker, journal, and web browser.
