Have you tried to do a detect and repair on Outlook client. If the detect and repair doesn't work try reinstalling Outlook. If that doesn't work then go to the mail icon in control panel and create a new Outlook profile and see if you get the same error message.

The Outlook profile may be corrupt. I would also suggest that you make sure that you have all of the available Office Updates.
