In my case the reinstall resolved the problem my user had. I'm not sure whether it will prove to be a solution in your case.

One of my users have been getting lockups with Outlook 2007 with the following errors in the event viewer:<br />

Faulting application outlook.exe, version 12.0.6316.5000, stamp 4833a470, faulting module msptls.dll, version 12.0.6211.1000, stamp 46ccd9ee, debug? 0, fault address 0x0001a854.<br />
<br />
It appears to be intermittent and I have yet to reproduce the problem myself in person. She says it is typically when she opens attachments which usually is something like an Excel file, PDF, or Word file. The attachments seem to open just fine when I ask her to open them after Outlook threw it's toys and restarted.<br />

Does anybody have any ideas what may be causing this and how to resolve it?<br />
