MYOB Printer Error 5

G'Day All,
  We have a site running Windows Server 2003 x64 as  a Terminal Server.  Running on this is MYOB Premiere 11.  Whenever anybody logs into the server and tries to print from within MYOB, they get a "Printer Error 5".  As far as MYOB is concerned, this is because Windows does not have any printer drivers installed.  This is not the case as the TS has at least 5 printer drivers installed and the logon scripts connect some more and set a default printer.

We have reinstalled printer drivers and tested printing from other applications and it is only MYOB with this issue.  Has anybody come across this before?  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Error 5 is standard error code for permission denied, so check the permissions on the printer.

You say you have atleast 5 printer drivers, but is it for the corrent printer? If printer driver is missing, the driver will be automatically installed from the print server if user is permitted to do so. Disable the following policy setting to allow normal users to install printer drivers:
Computer Configuration\Windows Settings\Security Settings\Local Policies\Security Options\Devices: Prevent users from installing printer drivers.

hi guys .. so how is this resolved ? i am also facing the same problem .. i cant seem to print when i am connected to the Terminal server via RDP . i had shared the printers on my end but when i need to print, it have a error 5 on the program
