I am trying to get the Tape to eject after a tape backup in NTBackup, Have tried changing the Eject Tape flag to 1, but still will not eject when NTBackup exits. Am stuck as to how i can get this to work.

I don't know what tape unit you are using but maybe you can use a variant of the following script. I hope this gets you on the right track.
echo off
start /wait rsm.exe refresh /LF"Your_Library_Name"
for /f "Tokens=1-4 Delims=/ " %%i in ('date /t') do set
dt=%%i-%%j-%%k-%%l
for /f "Tokens=1" %%i in ('time /t') do set tm=-%%i
set tm=%tm::=-%
set dtt=%dt%%tm%
ntbackup.exe backup "@C:\Your_backup_script.bks" /n "Monday %dtt%"
/d "Monday %dtt%" /v:no /r:no /rs:no /hcff /m normal /j "%dtt%" /l:f
/p "4mm DDS" /UM
rsm.exe eject /PF"Monday %dtt% - 1" /astart

Open in new window
