When you start typing the address, select the wrong one and hit delete.

The addresses that pad out text as you type it is stored in Nickname, (nk2 files) as follows:

Pre Outlook 2007: C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\*.nk2
Outlook 2007: C:\users\username\appdata\roaming\microsoft\outlook\*.nk2
May require files to be unhidden.

To View/Edit NK2 Files try NK2.info which is a free utility see: www.nk2.info.
