Hi

I am currently testing ISA 2006,

Freshly installed this morning, I have run the wizard to setup as proxy server, then set the client to use the mentioned proxy, however when ever i try and access a site it get:

Error Code: 502 Proxy Error. The ISA Server denied the specified Uniform Resource Locator (URL). (12202)

I have set up rules in the firewalls to allow all traffic from my internal network to the external network, but all i get is the above error.

I think the problem may be the external network is not defined, does it just use the default gateway?

If this is not the problem i have no idea what it could be, i cannot even get direct access through the proxy and its becoming very annoying

A little more info

here is the log file when i try to access google.com from a client

Which seems to suggest the enterprise default rule is stopping the traffic getting through, however i have a rule above the default rule to allow all traffic

no idea why it won't work,

thanks
