Logitech Mouse for MacBook Pro

I need a Bluetooth Mouse for my MacBook Pro. The Apple Mice don't seem to have enough resolution (?), that is, even with the Tracking Speed set to the max, I still have to physically slide my mouse 3-4 inches to get the cursor to move from one side of the screen to the other (Using Apple's Wireless Mighty Mouse)
(Here's some details of my adventures with this f you are interested:
Logitech's mouse worked well ... I only have to move it 1/2 to 1 inch to sweep the mouse cursor from one side of the screen to the other ... but I had trouble ... maybe user trouble ...specifically:
1. Using Logitech with the native ac drivers (I didn;t install Logitech Mac Drivers), the bluetooth Keybd & mouse conflicted, occiasionally the left-button would appear pressed (though it wasn;t) \, powering og the BT Keybd fixed this whe it happened
2. When I DID install Logitech drivers, the SYstem Preferences stopped working for Mouse & Keyboard.)
HELP if you can ... I am ready to buy whatever Bluetooth or Wireless Mouse works!!!!!!!!!
