Its an interesting concept that I would love to explore the idea of combining the technolgies and would seem a more economic alternative however the problem I am faced is that this is a major project that has been given to me by my supervisor and cannot be tailered in any fashion. The ebay link that the other lad gave me from your link above seems to be the most promising as it does seem to have a good range. However your comment above seems to be the answer to the question even if I am not able to go down that route... so I would say that points will be yours if no body can suggest another alternative.
