Xbox 360 can see folder but cannot connect

I have my Xbox 360 connected to my media center PC as a media extender through Windows Media Center.  When I try to add content to the library on the Xbox 360 through Windows Media Center, it sees the folder on the LinkStation Pro Duo and tries to connect but appears as though the connection drops and thus the content is never added to the Windows Media Center Library via the Xbox 360.  The folder connects fine to the media center PC through Windows Media Center. The Xbox 360 is connected to my wireless network and the router that I am using is a Linksys WRVS4400N.  In addition, I have a single domain set up.  Does anyone know of a solution to resolve this issue?

Have you checked permissions on the Folder? Do you have other Folders available that you can browse via the 360? Sounds like the Extender is working fine, but you may have a problem with Permissions/User Rights/Etc.

Maybe try to create another Folder and Give Everyone Read access, then try pointing MC to that share.

Turns out it is a permissions issue.  I changed the permissions in the web interface of the NAS device and have no permissions on it.  Not ideal but it will have to do for now.

Changing permissions in the web interface of the NAS device did the trick.
