Server.Createobject error

We have a web application that uses ActivePDF software to create, convert and bundle PDFs.

We tried to upgrade part of it, the Toolkit, and got errors and it also didn't perform the tasks as expected. We then reverted to the prior version, but continue to have problems.

Our suspicion is that there is that there is something "messed up" somewhere in the server (as opposed to the ActivePDF software per se).

The reason for that is the we deployed a DIFFERENT bundling software and it too gives the same exact error. Here is the error:

Active Server Pages error 'ASP 0115'
Unexpected error
/system/ClaimPDF.asp
A trappable error (80000003) occurred in an external object. The script cannot continue running.

I have no idea why, but prior to this error there was another one that was "server.createobject" error and said there was a permissions issue.

Basically, the target is moving on this one so its hard to know what to say about it other than what i said above. The symptom is not only this error but that at times the W3WP services crash as a result and we need to do iisreset or recycle the application pool.

Thank you for any help you can provide.

The error comes from an attempt to allocate memory which cannot be fulfilled, probably because too much memory has already been allocated. I'd look at the memory allocations in IIS.
