HP Insight Manager over internet

Hi.
We administrate about 50 small businesses with their each sbs 2003 HP server.
We would like to use HP  Insight Manager to send alerts and etc from these servers to our server.
Anyone that have set this up or know howe to.
Guess that the "client" sever can be set up to send alerts etc (rapport) to an external ip.
And that we can with firewall rules and NATing can route these alerts etc to our "monotoring" server.

Have asked our HP contact person, but gotten no answer.
Guess it's a bit different since the main sever cannot find "HP Insight manager clients" through searching since they are on different nettworks..

Hope I have described the situation good enough.. And in a not-too-bad english ...
Thanks

If SMTP is available one could use the HP Notifier to send alerts via email.

I would be uncomfortable opening a port for anything let alone SNMP, for HP SIM to monitor correctly one would have to open ports for 2381 and possibly 280, but I would prefer using notifier.

Indeed thats why i gave up with the HP stuff (SNMP security) and setup hyperic currently I get email notifcations as well but IF the insight manager can create a text log file you could monitor this as well

So, the best I can get is alerts coming in to a mailbox...?
Was hoping for some kind of centralized management like HP  SIM.
Thanks anyway

You can either setup hyperic hq like I have or you could use a comercial solution - If you find a better solution I would be interested - im sure you found already that 100's of emails doesn't work!
