I have a 2003 Ecvhange server and i  want to know is it possible to have resources setup for people to schedule the use of.  We have 6 conference rooms that when someone needs to use one of them for a meeting they schedule it when they send out the invitation for the meeting.  The only way i know of now is to setup an account for each room but do not allow email to be sent to it and share the calendars for each.  The problem with that is those accounts will always show up in the global address list.

Yes, you would create an account for each resource (room) that you want users to be able to schedule. You dont necessarily have to share the calendars for the room, you can set it up so the accounts will auto accept based on its own schedule.

Look at this kb article for the way to set it up  http://support.microsoft.com/kb/291616/#

its a very easy process to maintain
