Hi guyz,

I have  smalll issue, i want to run program which will execute after when a IIS reset is occured.
Like in our web server if IIS reset is occured once in month then the task will run once. I dont know how to setup it in Task Scheduler, Because i found their is only option like time setting or windows reboot.

So please guide me accordingly in windows task schedule (I am using win 2K3 with SP 2) how can i configure a task which will run soon after the IIS reset is occured.

Thanks

You cannot monitor windows events on task scheduller. teh question is, why will iis be resetted?
Instead of that, if iis will reset manually, you can make a batch file that executes iisreset and after executes you program.

If iis reset because computer or something is resetted, you can add that batch file to logon to be sure that the program will run when computer is rebooted.
the batch file (fie.cmd or file.bat , i prefer.cmd) can look liek this:

-----------------
iisreset
c:
cd\
cd "program files"
cd "prorgam"
program.exe
--------------------------
