Message tracking log files grow excessively

The message tracking logs recently grew in size from averaging 30mb to averaging 500mb.  This happened over night.  No changes were made in the exchange system during this time.  I have a dual exchange server set up and the other server is averaging around 30mb per log file.

No, we are not using single copy cluster.
