I have a Cisco 7603 with a SUP720-3B and I am having issues with it seeing my WS-X6748-GE-TX.  The  ports show up in the config, but the module clearly has power issues.

I am running version: 12.2(18)SXF15

I have a feeling it has to do with my version, but you need a PhD to understand what all the different cisco versions mean.

Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks!

I installed version 12.2.33SRA7 and it still shows the same results.  Even when I run the power enable cmd.

May be time to call TAC and open a service case...
I've seen this before if the module is only supported in specific slots on a 6513 chassis, but you don't have that many slots to choose from on the 7600.. you are running native mode, right?

Forgive my ignorance, but what is native mode.

With the SUP720 you have two modes of operation - Hybrid and Native. This may not be relevant to 7600 but with a 6500 you would have the switch running in CATOS mode and the route processor in IOS mode.
Native mode is pure IOS with no CATOS.

Thanks for explaining the difference.  I am pretty sure it is in native mode as there are no catos commands.  However, is there a show cmd that I could use to find out?

If you don't have to start out in CATOS mode  switch:(enable) mode, then session to the MSFC to get to the router> prompt, you are in native mode.
