I need SQL query language statement help
I need to update a field in one table with the value of a field in another table using a query statement where both tables have a common employerID, employeeID and TrasnactionID
Both fields are varchar(3) values.

field = t1.field
from table1 t1
join table2 t2 on t1.employeeid = t2.employeeid and t1.transactonid = t2.transactionid
