What is debugging?  I get the error message "a runtime error has occured"

What is debugging?  I keep getting error messgaes when trying to use google or different websites.
when I have tried to use the continue path on the debugger it gets stuck in a loop and doesn't function. I am using Windows XP with service pack 3. Thanks for the help!

Debugging is The process of discovering and correcting bugs in a program.

You can disable the  java script debugger...
