After installing WSUS3.0 SP1 all PCs are "computers with no status"

Hi, I would appreciate elp with a WSUS problem. I installed SP1 on WSUS 3.0 and after a reboot it seemed to work fine. But when this month's updates came out I checked and found that 150 out of 151 PCs show up as "computers with no status"  for this month's updates. Normally, all 151 PCs would show up under "Computers neding this update" or "Computers installed/not applicable".  I can look  back at the previously installed updates and they display normally but this month's updates do not. Is this a "feature" of the WSWS 3.0 SP1 or is something broken?

Thanks for your help SK,

I am working through your recommendations.

I Checked  the link that you posted, and made recommended changes as follows:

(1) Added integrated Windows Authentication to default web site and WSUS administration website.

(2) set permissions according to link which was referenced in your link (http://wsusinfo.onsitechsolutions.com/articles/016.htm)

After that, the Update Services console could not connect to the server, console was empty except for a big red X. I decided to start over. Removed and reinstalled IIS and WSUS3 PS1; retaining the logs and database.   After this, the console opened again and I was back to the original problem. All computers and previous updates show up properly in the console, but the updates with this month's date show all computers as "computers with no status".

Continuing on with the recommendations in the link you sent, I found that I have two missing cab files in the Program Files\Update Services\Selfupdate\au\x86\xp\en folder.

The missing files are:

iuengine.cab
 wuaclt1.cab

I also have some files in that folder that are NOT listed in the article you referenced. Here is the cmplete list of files in that folder:
01/23/2008  09:44 PM            49,002 cdm.cab
01/23/2008  09:42 PM           167,912 winhttp.ca
01/23/2008  09:42 PM           200,192 wuapi.cab
01/23/2008  09:42 PM            17,947 wuapi.mui.
01/23/2008  09:44 PM            33,980 wuauclt.ca
01/23/2008  09:44 PM             9,667 wuaucomp.c
01/23/2008  09:45 PM           104,316 wuaucpl.ca
01/23/2008  09:41 PM            17,873 wuaucpl.mu
01/23/2008  09:43 PM           651,994 wuaueng.ca
01/23/2008  09:42 PM            18,965 wuaueng.mu
01/23/2008  09:43 PM            20,893 wuauserv.c
01/23/2008  09:42 PM           143,764 wucltui.ca
01/23/2008  09:45 PM            97,079 wucltui.mu
01/23/2008  09:44 PM            25,299 wups.cab
01/23/2008  09:44 PM            31,708 wups2.cab
01/23/2008  09:44 PM            23,486 wusetup.ca
01/23/2008  09:45 PM            98,954 wuweb.cab

I looked for the missing files (iuengine.cab and  wuaclt1.cab) and did not see them in any of the subfolders of C:\Program Files\Update Services\Selfupdate\AU\x86\XP\en.  Where can I find the missing files?

Regarding your #2 sugestion, I will be adding a new PC later today or tomorrow, will let you know if is has the same issues.

Regarding your #3 suggestion, I deleted a couple of PCs from WSUS and one of them has already reappeared. So far it's status is "Not yet reported..."

Thanks for your help. Pleae explain where I can find the missing cab files, and I will post an update later regarding your suggestions 2 and 3.
