WSUS 3 on SBS2003R2 registering IP of the server with the IP of a proxy server

Hello,

I have strange problem in my company. I have installed separate linux machine as a proxy for clients (Squid), and everything's fine. Our SBS2003R2 server computer and proxy computer are accessing internet directly without any proxy at all.

My problem is, that when the proxy is running, WSUS registers SBS server with the IP of the proxy. When it's not running, SBS server is not registered at all. I have triple checked all IE settings, used command "proxy - d", reinstalled WSUS from scratch, and still the same problem. Please, where could be the problem?

I am including listing from WSUS client diag tool:

I am providing additional info from WindowsUpdate.log file, which shows the problem - for some unknown reason (to me) it's still trying to use the proxy!
