Hi,

How do I access phpmyAdmin via a web browser? I did go to http://127.0.0.1:81/phpmyadmin but it says url could not be found. it's really a strange problem, since when I go to http://127.0.0.1:81/phpmyadmin/index.php I get a 500 server error and after that i cant even connect to any websites sitting in www for ex. http://127.0.0.1:81/mysite. And then when i try after some time the website works again. So I guess there are sort of two issues here.

i am running easyphp v. 1.8. The files are sitting here - C:\Program Files\EasyPHP1-8\....

Thanks,
Ken

Why are you using port 81 for your web server? Do you have your web server set to serve http protocol on port 81 intentionally or is this a mistake?

Port 80 is the standard port for webservers.

I would confirm that before you go any further.

You should be able to run .NET and PHP both on the same protocol unless you are keeping them seperate for some reason.

If you have .NET on your server, I will assume you are running IIS as your web server software, correct?

If this is the case, you would merely need to place your phpMyAdmin files in a web accessible directory. Both should be able to use port 80 without any hitches.
