Making text box flash when date the is met

I have "date" text box on a Customer Job Report Form. This text box is a Dlookup from the customer field, that gets the contract renewal date from a seperate table. I have added conditional formatting to "date" highlightING when the renewal date is approaching, but would like it to flash when it within 30 days of the current date. Please can you help?

Flashing text is a really big design no-no ... you'd be much better off using conditional formatting to show it in Red, Bold ... whatever would draw attention other than flashing text. Users hate it and unless you provide them some way to turn it off I'd suggest you reconsider.

That said: Is this a continuous or Datasheet form? If so, you can't do it anyway ... if not, you could use the Form's Timer event to do this.
