I can ssh to this windows server - I think it is 2003 - I need to list the services and stop/start a particular service from a dos prompt.  I usually just remote in but the allocated logins are taken and I can't get connected that way.

Enter
net start
for a list of running services.
Enter
net stop <ServiceName>
to stop a certain service; put "<Service Name>" in quotes if it contains spaces.
