I can receive emails ocassionally, cannot send any emails

Hi there

My friend uses Incredimail as her email client.  The isp provider is talktalk so she has two email accounts setup on incredimail one being freeserve and the other talktalk.  I have setup both email accounts and very ocassionally she will receive an email from freeserve and talktalk but cannot send any emails at all as it says error.  Unable to receive authentication or smtp.

What do you suggest I do?  I know that I will need to back up her folders in incredimail.  Is freeserve accounts still active?

Any help would be appreciated as she has been without email all this year and its getting tiresome.

What is probably happening is she is receiving a talktalk message and responding to it through freeserve, or vice versa.  If freeserve is seeing a talktalk message coming through on freeserve account, it will think that the senders pc has been turned into a spam source, and will reject it.  If you are unable to send at all, then try setting up Authentication (i.e., login to the account to send).

Freeserve accounts are still active, even though the service became Wanadoo, now it is Orange.
