Outlook Version Question

I was told that there are different "versions" of Outlook. I know there is Outlook Express and Outlook but someone told me that the Outlook in the Student and Teacher edition is a different version with different feature than the small business version.

I also know that there is version 2000, 2003 and now 2007 and that's not what I am talking about. The reason I ask is I was told since I have the Student and Teacher edition of Outlook I can not have a drop down menu with an away message in Outlook.

Any truth to this?

Hi, TheTechEase.

I can't find it in writing from Microsoft, but I don't believe that's true.  I believe that all the products in the Student and Teacher edition are identical to their counterparts in every other version.  To the best of my knowledge the only difference is the price and the ability to install one copy on three computers.  The closest I could find is this review from a British web site: http://www.ciao.co.uk/Microsoft_Office_Student_and_Teacher_Edition_2003_Complete_package__Review_5542775

Microsoft's product review doesn't mention any differences either.
