Dear Sir/Madam
I cannot active the slow log query in mysql.  I am using windows XP professional and mysql 5.0.45. I add to my.ini the following setting:
set-variable=long_query_time=1
log_slow_queries=c:/Program Files/MySQL/MySQL Server 5.0/data/slow_query.log

But I was confuesed while I am searching on the internet some examples using log_slow_queries and others log-slow-queries.  So which I have to user dash ( - ) or underscore ( _ ) .
Thank you

It's log-slow-queries

http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.0/en/slow-query-log.html

It seems your path for slow query log includes space... pls include the path in double quote and restart the server...

log-slow-queries="c:/Program Files/MySQL/MySQL Server 5.0/data/slow_query.log"
