How can I create this cool online catalog?

That website is made from flash. Flash files are saved as .swf's can then can be embedded into peoples webpages. The best flash creator in my opinion is Adobe Flash CS3. Its very nice to use.

If you have no personal experiance yet it would be very hard to create a page like that. Most people just hire someone who is trained in flash to create a custom website, but those can be extremely costly.

I know Flash.  Is there a component or plug-in that creates that online catalog application?

Not that I have seen, to me that looks as if they simply have the animation set up and everything, then they simply put a picture of the catalogs page on each one. If you want you can download that .swf and decompile it to examine it further.

Go to that page, on your browser hit file>save as
save the .swf to your desktop or anywhere.

Then use SOThink SWF decompiler

which i have found decompiles .swf's quick nicely.

Then you can check it out.


As for actual plugins that create that, i don't believe so.
