Please make sure your device is ON and interface cable is propoerly connected to your computer. (CC027)." As such I am unable to scan documents. Thanks darkfiend. Tried your suggestion but no luck. Nobus I can print and scan to the device from another PC (just not mine). I have also replaced the cat 5 cable to the device.
try running sfc /scannow from the run box
Thanks. I will try this.
No joy.

When you say "reboot and install the driver for it" by "it" I assume you mean the print driver or the SPC 210s mutli function printer?
OK. I deleted the LAN's from device manager and noticed that before deleting and after reinstalling the driver, all sub folders under imaging devices (which included Integrated Camera, SPC210sf LAN and USB device) all have a ! through their symbol. Further to this (and I don't know if this is relevant) but when I restart my PC I get an error reading which states "SQLdumper library failed initiation. Your installation is either corrupt or has been tampered with. Please uninstall then re-run setup to correct this problem".  Any thoughts?
I also have this message under the General tab of the SPC 210sf LAN Propertiesd " Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39). Click Troubleshoot to start the troubleshooter for this device."

Thnaks for the assistance.
Folks,
I just went through all of these suggestions, to no avail.  What I did to fix the issue was to look at the network (TCP/IP) settings.  Since I did not install this originally, I looked at it as if I was setting it up for the first time.  What I found was the subnet mask was wrong.  Even though everyone could print to it, and scanning was spotty, the subnet mask was the real issue.
BOTTOM LINE:  Trust nothing, check everything.
Just wanted to share.
