Outlook Default value for From field

Here is the setup.  Employee's have their mailbox and their team mailbox.  Their outlook profile is their normal exchange profile and then they add the team mailbox.  When they check mail in the team mailbox and go to forward or reply it sends as the team user and not the specific employee.  What I want to happen is when the employee is forwarding or replying to an email in the team mailbox it puts their username in the from field.

You will need to give them "Send as" permissions on the security tab of the mailbox. They will then have to supply their address in the From won't do it automatically.

Where do you enable the "Send As" permissions that you speak of?  The security tab that I can see does not have this permission.  Please expand..

In ADUC, make sure you have the advanced features turned on by goint to the "View" menu and selecting "Advanced Features". Now when you go to the user's properties, you will see a tab..."Security". Choose that tab, add your user and then select "Send As" from the list of permissions in the bottom window.

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you...I lost track of this question in my list.

thanks for the tip, I ended up 'delegating' the people who were part of the team which gave them the rights to 'send as'.
