"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

you are awesome.  i'm going to get "kevin is the greatest!" tatooed around my left nipple.  it'll be in skin tone ink, but we'll both know it's there.

i'm in awe.  thank you.

if i copy the sheet, will the code adjust or do will i need to fix anything?

Copying the sheet should work but I have not tested it.

Would mind posting your grading comment in a regular post? I want to add it to my list of accolades: http://www.experts-exchange.com/M_1677072.html

i tried copying the sheet.  the filter works but the sort doesn't.  i update and change this workbook on a weekly basis.  what will i need to change in the code when adding a new sheet?
douglascarleydotcomAuthor Commented:
i figured it out.  the shape you have placed are assigned to the macro from the first sheet (a guess).  i right clicked and assigned the sortheaderclick macro to them.
zorvek (Kevin Jones)ConsultantCommented:
You can also delete all the shapes and recreate them by selecting the cells over which you want the shape and running the macro "Sort_CreateHeaderHotArea".

Your method is a lot faster though if you select all the shapes and assign the macro in one step.
