Recently upgraded from exchange 2003 std to exchange 2007 sp1 enterprise. Domain admins used to be able to open any other users mailbox. Now when trying to open another users mailbox (creating a new mapi profile, entering users logon acct) and trying to open, it will only open with the users ad account and p/w.

Have you checked the permissions? Did they change?

I have the same problem.  Permissions did change, obviously.  The old store had perms explicitly set for the Exchange admins so we could do the work we needed to.  Now with Exchange 2007 we can only open mailboxes that are still on Exchagne 2003.   Is there a (simple) way to grant access with the new version?
