Hi Experts!
I'm new to development in sharepoint. I need to implement the workflow with custom ASP.NET form developed in Visual Studio, we can't use InfoPath. Any advice on how to start this project will be appreciated. The sharepoint site is using forms authetication.
Thank you.

here are a couple of walkthroughs:

i think walkthroughs are a good place to start... working through an example is a good way to learn the process.  from there, you can apply it to create a workflow that is customized to suite your needs.
