i havee apc Windows XP sp3. that Corel WP was installed on no problem. The user then went to install Office ready and the system crashed. So Officeready never installed properly.
when i go to add remove and try and remove from there it shows that it is preparing to remove, then says it has completed, yet the

1) program listiing is still in add remove
2) the program is still showing on the c drive

So i downloaded microsofts windows uninstaller and the program is not listed in the list
i then went and deleted the prog files folder and did a search for officeready in the registry and removed the entries from there.

Any ideas ?  i would really like to install it on this  system< but can not do so while its "still showing"

thanks

aclv,

How are you doing?

I would manually delete the entire folder within program files, where this software was located. The add/remove should then be "searching for it" and see it no longer exists, thus allowing you to remove it from the system. Then you can reinstall.

If that does not work (ie., after deleteing the directory for that applicaiton, add/remove still has it there) then follow this:
