Best assembler plugin (and help setting up) for eclipse??
I am currently taking assembly for the first time and I cant stand just using notepad (using TASAM as my compiler atm don't really have much choice on this). I heard there were plugins for eclipse to use assembler and I found this through some digging
http://sourceforge.net/projects/asmplugin/
I was wondering if this would be adequate or if someone else knows something better. Really I'm looking for syntax highlighting, compiling would be great but I doubt that would be included without some good tweaking on my part (if you could help me through it though that'd be great). I say I'm looking for eclipse because I have used it for both Java and C and its been a big help (and I'm familiar with it).
Also I wasn't sure how to install the plugin I posted a link to above,
I tried looking here http://www.venukb.com/2006/08/20/install-eclipse-plugins-the-easy-way/ but my plugin doesn't have an eclipse folder to link to so I was unsure.
Any help appreciated! (Please lemme know if you need some more information about my setup to help the only other thing I could think to tell ya is for C in eclipse I use cygwin with gcc to compile for me)
Thanks!
