Actually i am having one proxy server with CENT OS installed. I am able to block the bad website through squid and dansguardian.I have created filter groups using dansguardian.I am able to block orkut if directly access it in my explorer. But when the user go to google.com there will be one tab named orkut ,when they click on that tab they are able to go to orkut webpage. But when they give the username and password in orkut it is directing to next page where they get ACCESS IS DENIED..so there are not able to access. But i want to block the user not going to the orkut webpage itself.wat can i do?Is there anyother software working better than dansguardian.

Add the domain name in bannedsitelist

This file contains a list of banned sites. Entering a domain name here bans the entire site.

also you can use

bannedurllist

This allows you to block specific parts of a site rather than the whole site
