Upgrade SQL 2000 Standard to Enterprise

I am currently running SQL 2000 Standard SP4 on a windows 2003 box. I add another instance. SQL 2000 SP4 Enterprise edition, and it installs the instance, but as SQL 2000 Enterprise Edition RTM. I am unsure why this is happening.
