Hi

In VB.net I have to load many images into picture boxes on a Windows form.
The way I add an image is by right clicking on the "Resources" folder then
selecting "Add existing item". By my of understanding this is how to embed an image in the project.
Next I click on the Image property of the PictureBox control and select the "Project Resource File" radio button. I then click on import to select the image from the Resource folder BUT the image then gets duplicated in the resource folder. How do I stop this duplication from happening?

Thanks

Just don't do the first step.
If you want to add an image an embed it in the project, just:
1. Drag a PictureBox to your Windows Form
2. Select the Image Property and select "Project resource file"
3. Click Import and select the image.

By following this steps, the image will be automatically copied to the resource folder of your project, and embed in the Assembly.
