Konica BizHub C203 Error's out in the mornings

I am having an issue with my companies C203 bizhub erroring out first thing in the morning during its restore from power save. It throws an error C4553 (laser ?) and it takes about 15 minutes of opening and closing the main door to reset it, it will then work flawlessly until the next moring when it trys to resume from power save mode.  
Where do I start our service tech is boggled with the issue?

Issue is with faulty production on boards made in China. Replaced board, all is well..
