internet explorer browsing problem

we have our sharepoint site which is internally available for everyone...when ever user just type xyz on browser it open the sharepoint site...but only on 1 computer until i dont provide http:\\xyz is not openeing...what could be the reason...

You can first try reseting IE. Tools>Internet Options>Advanced>Reset

i did this and after doing it works fine for few days and again now the problem start...what thing is creating this problem...

Are you saying that all the other users DO NOT have to put in the http: in order to connect to the intranet site but this user DOES have to?

yes rest all users are able to open the site without http in the front ....but in this users case i have to mention all the time http:\\xyz and then it open the site

corruopted IE reinstallation fix the issue...
