Parameter to unzip files without their self-created folders

I am running wzunzip to unzip some batch files to a specified folder.  The command line I have done runs successfully except that the file has a self-contained folder.  Meaning if the file name is DBSallc.bak it resides in a folder DBSallc

I need to extract the zip contents without establishing the self-created individual folder for each file.  Cannot find this parameter/switch anywhere...

wzunzip -d creates the directories as it goes.
If you skip the -d then it drops the files in the current directory
so check you have not added '-d'
